Start a topic
Lettid has no accounts, so new topics and replies come in by email. It keeps spam out and lets us check each post before it goes live.
How to submit a topic
- Write your topic: a clear title and the story of what you did. Include costs, time, tools or steps where they matter.
- Email it to simpleworkz@gmail.com with the subject line “New topic: your title”.
- Tell us the category and the username you’d like to appear under.
- We review it against the community guidelines and publish it, usually within a few days. We’ll email you the link.
Replying to a topic
Every topic page has an Email a reply button. It fills in the topic title for you. Add your reply and the username you’d like to use.
What makes a good topic
- A title that says what you did, like “Replaced my dishwasher pump for about $35”.
- The starting point: what the problem or goal was.
- The steps or decisions that mattered, and what went wrong.
- The result, and what you’d do differently next time.
Your content and your privacy
You keep ownership of what you write. By submitting it, you allow us to publish it on Lettid as described in our Terms of Use, and you can ask us to remove it at any time. We only publish the username you choose, never your email address. Please don’t include personal details in your post that you don’t want to be public.
