1. Information we collect

Information you send us

Lettid has no public user accounts and no forms that store visitor data on our servers. When you email us, for example to submit a topic, reply to a discussion or ask a question, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the content of your message. We use it only to respond to you and to publish the content you asked us to publish, under the username you choose.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records technical information in server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the time of your visit. These logs are used for security, troubleshooting and keeping the site running.

Cookies and similar technologies

We don’t set our own tracking cookies. Our advertising partner, Google, uses cookies and similar technologies as described below and in our Cookie Policy.

2. Advertising and Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to show ads on Lettid. Please note:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.

3. Fonts

We keep emails for as long as needed to handle your request and manage published content. Published posts stay online until you ask us to remove them or we remove them under our guidelines. Server logs are kept for a limited time by our hosting provider.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent and to complain to your local data protection authority. Some US state laws also give you the right to opt out of the use of your information for targeted advertising, which you can do through the Privacy settings link and Google Ads Settings. 8. Children

Lettid is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Links to other websites

Posts and ads may link to other websites. We’re not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read their policies.

10. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No website or email service is completely secure, so please don’t send sensitive personal information by email.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
